DOMESTIC & INTERNATIONAL TOURIST RATES FOR 2008 - 2009
: Q1 - world's tallest resort tower - has now been awarded full 5 star status - now the highest & most luxurious resort in the Gold Coast, with the best city, ocean & hinterland views! ! Of course the best views are from the higher floors, esp. from the SKY-RISE levels 42 to 54 (very few apartments above level 54 are available for guests). From 1 April 2008, Q1's on-site management has increased prices as follows:
- 2brm high-floor ocean view: $479 night (mid season: $509 night) – our charge for 4804 on 48th level: $375 night.
- 3 brm high-floor (sky rise section): $659 a night (mid season: $689 night) – our charge for 5405 on 54th level: $425 night.
WHY ARE WE SO MUCH CHEAPER? ON-SITE MANAGERS TAKE UP TO 50% OF OWNERS' SALES INCOME!! WE MANAGE OURSELVES AND CAN PASS SAVINGS ONTO GUESTS! SO, MUCH CHEAPER WITH US!
Q1’s on-site management provides a professional tourist service, and controls some 85% of the approx. 160 holiday units in Q1. You can find their prices on these websites: http://www.q1.com.au/ http://www.q1resort.com/
Most of their 2brm & 3 brm units are smaller than ours and 80% or more are on levels up to 41. One reason they charge much more is because they provide a daily service – although most apartments in the Gold Coast only provide a mid-stay service for stays of more than 7 nights, due to increasing demand, we also can provide more regular or daily services at an additional cost.
NOTE: some other providers of Q1 holiday units may be cheaper than us, but it is unlikely that they can match our units in size, level and ocean views. For example, some providers have cheaper prices for 2 brm apartments, but do NOT specify whether they are high floor ocean view apartments – most likely most are not! Note that 2 brm apts. start at level 3! The best ocean views are from the sky-rise levels, that start on levels 46.
IN FACT: our two privately-owned holiday apartments are amongst the best available in Q1 because:
- our 3 brm apt. 5405 (205 sq.m.) is on 54th level with stunning ocean/hinterland views - very few are available on higher floors, and most available 3 brm. apts. are on lower floors & are smaller: 188 sq.m. So, one of the best in Q1. Note: 3 brm apts. start on level 28. We are on level 54.
- our 2brm apt. 4804 (“A” unit) is on 48th level - in the entire building, only those 2brm "A" style units on levels 49 - 54 can match 4804's direct ocean views (but we believe only one or two are available for rent). "A" units from level 44 have the best 180 degree ocean views. "A" units are 160 sq.m. - ALL other available 2 brm apts. are smaller. Note: in Q1, the 2 brm apts start on level 3! We are on level 48. Note: on-site management's definition of "high-rise ocean view" means apts. from level 20.
